December 2022 - This holiday season, CBR International (now Novotech Drug Development Consulting) was proud to donate over 250 pounds of food and toiletries to the Emergency Family Assistance Association here in our home city of Boulder, CO. Thanks to our leadership team for supporting this endeavor; and thanks to our Office Administrator, Dean, for organizing and delivering our donations.

Alert Bay Marine Research Society promotes understanding of the oceans and the environment in the North Vancouver Island region of British Columbia. CBR International (now Novotech Drug Development Consulting) donated computers to their ethnobotany effort, which works to find new and useful medicines in the Pacific Northwest biome based on generations of healing knowledge from First Nations healers and educators.
American Cancer Society's Relay For Life is a celebration of survivorship and an occasion to express hope and our shared goal to end a disease that threatens so many lives. The funds raised by this event go toward cancer research and also to cancer patients that need assistance and support. Their goal is to create an environment that fosters professional advancement through programming, support services, and networking opportunities for postdoctoral scientists in the CU-Boulder research community.
Denver March for Science is a grassroots, all volunteer organization, meant as a celebration of our passion for science and a call to support and safeguard the scientific community. This organization advocates for scientific research, science education, and evidence-based policies.
Dining Out For Life is an annual fundraising event in the Denver area. CBR International (now Novotech Drug Development Consulting) celebrates a special happy hour to support this event. In 2019, proceeds went to Project Angel Heart to help provide delicious, medically-tailored meals for Coloradans living with HIV/AIDS.
Emergency Family Assistance Association in Boulder, CO, is a locally operated community safety net for families in times of need. Since 1918, the organization has helped tens of thousands of families get back on their feet.
Epic Experience empowers adult cancer survivors to live life to the fullest beyond cancer, by providing free week-long adventures in the Colorado Rockies. Throughout the week, as participants challenge themselves physically, find community with other survivors, and talk through fears and worries, they gain hope and return home with insights to help them live and thrive beyond cancer. CBR International (now Novotech Drug Development Consulting) has been proud to sponsor their annual Hearts & Hope Gala.
Marine Corps Toys for Tots collects new unwrapped toys and distributes them to less fortunate children at Christmas, to help bring those children the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope.
Rocky Mountain Honor Flight is the trip of a lifetime. A few times a year, a handful of Colorado veterans fly to Washington, D.C., where they will have the opportunity to visit the war memorial honoring their sacrifice, connect with comrades in arms, and receive the recognition of generations of grateful Coloradans. Since the first Rocky Mountain Honor Flight in 2008, the chapter has made over 30 trips with more than 1,000 veterans of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
Up with People empowers young people, through music and action, to be positive agents of change for a more hopeful, trusting, and peaceful world. This Denver-based non-profit organization uses a 5-month program involving travel, the performing arts, volunteering, and various workshops focused around intercultural communication to teach young adults how to interact in a multi-cultural environment and create change in communities with varying needs. CBR International (now Novotech Drug Development Consulting) was proud to be a Patron Sponsor for their 2020 annual gala.

Our own Vani Vivekanandan is the event co-chair, has been part of the event's leadership team since 2013, and is also a former keynote speaker. Many other of our employees have also participated in the planning and organization of this event.
Relay For Life is a celebration of survivorship and an occasion to express hope and our shared goal to end a disease that threatens so many lives. The funds raised by this event go toward cancer research and also to cancer patients that need assistance and support. For example, the organization provides transportation to and from chemotherapy and radiation treatments, as well as programs to provide cancer patients with pets for comfort and companionship.

CBR International (now Novotech Drug Development Consulting) participates in the Bolder Boulder's Business Challenge as part of the annual Bolder Boulder 10k event on Memorial Day, sponsoring a group of our own runners and family members. We're extremely excited about the opportunity to contribute to an event that helps to shape the image of our local community.
Runner's World magazine has named the Bolder Boulder America's All-Time Best 10K. Everyone from world-class athletes to casual walkers can enjoy the scenic course through the city of Boulder. At the finish of the course, runners enter Folsom Field to the cheers of 50,000 fans. The grand finale is the Memorial Day Tribute with skydivers carrying flags from each military branch, a military jet flyover, and a ceremony honoring local military heroes.
